Sun N Fun 2005
Sun N Fun this year was fantastic. It was pretty windy though, which made for it being a little chilly when the sun went down. I met loads of people there that we knew and met some new ones too! We had a cook out in the campsite too thanks to the hospitality of Bob, one of Russ's friends.

I've also been talking to René a lot over e-mail as our planes seem to be going down a similar path. René is building an RV-7 with three other chaps, Aart, Pim and Harm. These guys were great fun, and I'm glad they enjoyed their first trip to Sun N Fun! I hope that in the future they have many more! Hey guys, maybe you can fly the RV here one year?! What was especially nice for them is the shear number of RV's to see at SNF. In Holland, I think René said that there were two flying and four being built.

The highlight of this trip for them was that they also ordered a TMX IOF-360 engine from Mattituck. Here they are grilling THE Mahlon Russell in the Exxon tent. Actually, maybe the highlight was the Van's banquet or the Bob Evan's breakfast we had the day after!!!!! Hope you had a good trip home guys. You can read about their prgress here.
