Snowboarding Fun!
This page is really nothing more than to post pictures of some of the snowboarding trips I've been on with all my buddies from all over the world. Most are still in Europe, but I also have some US based buddies that like to ride the pow.
Below are some of the highlights. I haven't compiled all of them yet, but eventually we'll get there. You know how it is. Busy busy...
I learned to ride somewhere around 1996-97, in Soelden, Austria. We all used to go most weekends when I was living and working in Cologne, Germany. It was a 7 hour drive or so, but it was great fun!
I haven't got any photos of those days, but if any of my mates have any, forward them to me!
Whistler 1999
I think this was probably my first Whistler experience. I went with my bro Keith, Peejay and Tommo. We had a blast. Here is Bro, Me and Tommo from left to right on the lift. I think we were going up to contemplate a big jump.

Here it is... The big jump. A lovely cornice hanging out there!

I remember hanging over the edge of it once we got up there and thinking to myself, "Crikey, it's a bit high!" It obviuosly didn't stop us though!
Here's Tommo testing the water.... Frozen water that is...

Here's me looking at him crater the landing!

And here's a shot of me coming over! It's not such great quality, but you can clearly see the snow trail through the air I left! I was steaming along at a fair pace by the time I landed! I think this is one of the biggest jumps I've done to this day.

While we were there we took in a day of Heliski too. Fantastic powder.

France for the Milenium
This was probably the holiday with the largest turn out of people. We had everybody there practically. Fantastic stuff too. This was our New Year Dinner, around the table starting left and going around are... Roland, Sean, Steffi, Gary, Petra, Anne's husband, John, Greg. Missing from the picture is me and Anne. Not sure what Anne was doing, but I was taking the picture.
Some of the crew...
Haha! These were the days of real snowboarder hair for me too!
This goes down in history as one of Sean's most undignified moments! I can't remember how he ended up down here, but we all had a spectacular laugh at him!
We had a massive amount of snow that trip too! Excellent!
I remember digging out the bloody cars just so we could still find them in a couple of days when we were due to leave!
One of the shots of the Millenium evening... Are we all inthe picture?!
Tonight was the night Sammy the Salmon came out. We still have him too! Somewhere somebody has a photo of him smoking too.
Popping the bubbly in the town square! What a fantastic way to spend New Year.
Here I'm spraying someone, but I've no idea who it was now!
Ooooooooo.....
Aaaahhhhhhhh....
The snowball fight with some French blokes! They ended up surrendering too!
The aftermath!
OK, time for some action shots!
Here's Greg getting some air! Nice style!
Oops! Maybe not!
My turn, my turn! Here he comes, looking great!
Hits the ramp in style...
Huge air!
Even bigger crater! Landing never have been my forte!
Greg showing spectacular style...
Marky getting down with the jump thing...
An artsy mountain shot.
