First up for the day was making a new throttle cable bracket, because the configuration of the Bendix fuel injection throttle body was completely different. This is the bracket I fabricated; it’s black now because it’s been painted. It works with the existing throttle cable.

Then we had to make an extension piece to fit between the airbox snorkel and the Bendix throttle body, as its length was different from the original FADEC body. We got some carbon fibre tubing and bonded it to a phenolic resin flange, and that made a really nice extension piece.

The last thing for the day was fabricating a battery tray to hold a secondary battery. It’s a little smaller than the one used for the old EFIS/1 setup.
